This was taken the same time as a previous one I posted but never used.He was on our fence with the Golden Cane Palms behind him. We havent seen these guys in about six months, since they were building the sound barrier on the highway behind us.

Great pic of a Kookaburra Fiona!!!! These birds are real little devils and I love their laugh...

Bokeh is good from shallow DOF, focus spot on and nice colour; this one fits the 'bill' so to speak!!!

Haha! Love it! Excellent shot here, with the bird being really nice and sharp! But you also got a super bokeh with it also! Love the dancing colors of light, nice posting for the theme!

Hello Fiona,a good sharp shot of the kookaburra with a lovely bokeh.I like the 'discs' of colour in the bokeh.
You have caught the catchlight in its eye.
I remember seeing kookaburras in London Zoo.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Now that the calm has returned to your sector this fellow has simply claimed back its territory behind your house Fiona . Clever bird .
The circles of light are what makes your compo agreeable and very appropriate for the theme ,a pretty nice bokeh indeed , eye and beak are sharp for a 200 mn zoom shot ,very well done ,
