[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The upper Murchison River in Kalbarri National Park, Western Australia. I liked the curving overhang of the rust covered cliffs here. Most of the other tourists went kayaking downstream, but I wandered around with my camera after kayaking for 15 minutes or so. They were gone an hour. Pleased to report I kept my balance & didn't fall off once, despite the flies crawling up my nose!

What a lovely landscape you have caught in here, dear Chris!

Amazing color contrast between the blue of the sky and rust-colored rocky landscape.
The sharpness and POV are excellent, and clarity is superb.
Well management of exposure in this location.

Greetings,
Paras

Hi Chris,
A nice POV through this cave of this lovely beach! Great texture if the rocks adorned with wonderful warm lighting. I like the Natural frame of the cave and the perfect light management. A marvelous blue sky contrasting splendidly with the greenish color of the water.
Very neat work!
My best regards,

Francis Xavier

Hi Chris - nice use of the rock as a natural frame! Lovely saturation of colour too with the polariser really working well.

Fairly sharp - but I would go from f7.1 and 1/200sec to go f11 and 1/50sec for a sharper shot.

Cheers
DAvid

PS Good to see you've gone for the Nikon DSLR

Hi Chris, a great shot especially for such a bright sunny day. The nice blue sky that comes with not having the smog to contend with out there. I have a few old film type shots from up around there. Fiona

Beautiful colors and nice shot!

Hi Chris,
Looks like an awesome place to visit. I like the natural framing formed by the cliff face.

Hello Chris, the well chosen view point, using the opening as a frame works well,as does the polarizer which saturates the colours beautifully.
A very nice travel shot.
