[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Was asked to take some more shots of the woodchopping, this time out in the Hinterland at Canungra. Rain rain rain. This was taken under an umbrella as close as I could get.This is at the top of the 20ft tree event. Archie was the winner. Have only cropped and resized this so considering you couldnt see the trees on the surrounding hills,it came out better than I expected.Was trying to keep the speed up to lose the blur without losing the light.I did change wb to cloudy but the iso was on auto.(wont do that again)Had to stop mid afternoon as it started to pour harder and wasnt safe. |

The rain finally made it up here last night, still going. In spite of the missing bit of shoe I think this is one of the best of the wood chop. Man stands out clearly from the bg trees and the axe having just broken through is terrific. I am so glad you didnt show just how high he really was, well done.
