[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Haven't done any uploading or pp for a while, so I'm a bit rusty. Taken on a recent trip to Central Australia just a week or so ago. I am now back in Korea. Also named the Olgas (after Queen Olga of Guthenburg) who financed the expedition for the early explorers. I think it was renamed 'Kata-Tjuta' in 1985?

Reminded me of Moab National park in Utah, in the States. Temperatures hit 45c in the shade in Summer, so the shelter shed is more than welcome.

Hi Chris...
Beautiful natural scene...
Beautiful shot with so nice colors, composition...
Have a nice weekend...

Bonjour Chris
Ravie de vous revoir sur TL...Belle composition avec de belles couleurs contrastées.Belle lumière.Bravo et merci pour le partage.Catherine

Hey Chris ... really good to see you again :)
Lovely bright constrasting colors as always. The sky is beautiful, and the lead-in with the little rugged fence is great.
Hope all is well

Hi Chris,

Long time no see. I could tell this was one of yours when I first spotted the thumbnail. Nice use of the dirt road for a lead-in, with excellent depth. I guess you visited home??

Hello, those colors are perfect.Very sharp and well composed photo.I was there years ago when there was no pathway or shelter.Liked it better that way. Best regards Otto.

An interesting scene and well composed to draw the eye toward the formations featured along the horizon line. I like noticing all the textural details throughout the landscape and the bit of contrast from the fence and shadows. Nice shot:)

Good to see you back, Chris!

A wonderful post with such great weather. The sky is so nice and the landscape is just fantastic. The sharpness and POV are excellent and clarity is amazing. Well done!

Have a nice weekend.

Hi Chris,

Welcome back, the trees are framing well the rock formation. The distance between the fence and the rocks is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the Olga rocks. Using a polarising filter has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Merhaba Chris,
Welcome back again.Çok çok güzel ve farklı bir manzara çalışması.
Renkler ve ışık şahane.

Good Morning Chris,

How good to see you posting again!
Are you back for a while?

This shot shows Australia as I have perceived it, on the many documentaries that I have seen; very hot, very dusty and very bright.
You have a fine pov, using the road to lead in and ending at a strong disappearing point. There is a nice balance from the tree and the rocks. Colours nicely saturated.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)
Are you still teaching?

Hi Chris,
Have not seen you around here for a while. I thought you had left the site, TL is pretty much dead these days.

This scene looks very much like US South West. The visitor enclosure looks utterly out of place. Very interesting shot.

Hello Chris!
Wonderful countryside, amazing landscape. Excellent park.
Beautiful weather, lightness and brightness. Beautiful colours, good saturation.
Fine long perspective. Perfect take.
Interesting note.
Well done!

Those rock formation remind me of Arizona even foliage. I'm glad you included the people it gives a sense of scale. Good lighting and dof with sharp details. Well done, tfs.
