Sunset from the 1000 metre high Bunya Mountains in south east Queensland, overlooking the Darling Downs. I think this was Mt Kiangarow.

Hi Chris,

Well, that's an awesome sunset! It's like there is somewhere a fire and the smoke creates wierd shapes and colour tones... (maybe you need the water-bombing plane a photographed...lol...).
That orange line splits the photo in two (like sepparating the sky from the earth).
Great work, my friend!

very well contained, juust enough detail in the darker areas, a beauty, M, (*_*)

Oh, Chris, This is wonderful! When the heaven torn asunder! PERFECT!

Amazing sunset, very unique sky and lovely golden hues. You have composed this shot in a perfect way and the silhouettes of the trees are the special touch.

So is the the mountain the sun is peeking over or the clouds? I can't tell. Either way, very great shot of the sun as it just barely sticks its head over the ridge. Very nice.

Hey Chris,

Brilliant colours and great silhouettes.
I agree with cstathoulis, the orange line looks like the earth is seperating from the sky.
Well done.
