[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the young bloke that I took a few shots of at the Mudgeeraba show 2 mths ago. Hes Australian age champion and going up against the big guys. This was the first time he has had a go at the tree chop and finished 4th in the final.. Not an easy task being first attempt in the wet. A few of the events were taken out by both him and his father. I decided not to crop out the power pole just to show how far off the ground these guys are..

Hi Fiona,
The inclusion of the jigger board helps convey the feeling pf height these axemen work from.
You were right to leave the lamp post in to reinfoce the effect, well done.
The POV is interesting, in that you were looking down.
A shot from lower down looking up would have added to the drama.
Easy for me to say ;)
