[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The second of my sunrise shots. The first was in portrait mode.
The shot was taken at sunrise looking east down Moona Moona Creek to Jervis Bay.
Jervis Bay is located some 2 hours drive south of Sydney and is a much favoured summer holiday destination.
To the left of the rising sun on the horizon is Point Perpendicular (the northern headland of the bay).Further across the grey horizon is Bowen Island then the southern headland of the bay.
Taken with my smaller lens to show the broad expanse of the bay.
This time I used PS Elements 2 not only to resize but to do a little sharpening.
It is sunrises like this that make the day worthwhile.

Hi Robert
beautiful sunset...very well done!

Alessandro

This image burns through to attract attention Robert. Very well captured and vivid and colourful indeed. I love the way the water shimmers and the skies burn overhead. You've got a good pov and used the dof well. A very good composition indeed.

Hi Robert,

I love sunrise/sunset shots. Excellent composition in this one. The silhouettes on the left provide a nice *frame*. TFS

Can I say stunning? The line of creek catching the rays of the sun. You got strong shape strong silohtettes awesome colors and lighting in this shot a very subtle beauty very simple composition and you got the exposure right. Your PP was not over the top. YOu refined what was there. I would like to see the orginal rougher images.

Great selection of the wide angle lense.

Beautiful image. Lovely colours. Grat POV & reflection. Well composed. I especially like the creek running through the middle. TFS

Tracey

Very beautiful sunset, Robert. The reflection is awesome, the way you use the landscape to lead the eye here is very professional. My only nit-pick: the horizon is not entirely level (tilted ccw, just a tiny bit).
TFS!

Robert, I really enjoy this.
I tried while at the beach for a week to capture a sunrise but alas the weather did not cooperate for me. At least someone managed theirs. I am first drawn to the sun of course and following its rays to the rest of the photo. I like when the photo takes me and gently leads me with little or no work on my part to 'notice' it all. The photo does its job and such is how it should be.
Well done my friend.
Another beautiful photo.
Thank you for Sharing.
