[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It may not look like it but actually this is only a few hundred metres from the city centre. We are fortunate that the original city land scapers chose to put several large parks near the city and we have also been fortunate that they have been left much as they have been for 220 years.

Hi Murray.
Looks a bit old to me. At least 220 years now.
It is good to have parks in the cities. Even 'Crowdy' Singapore has some relaxing parks.

Hi Murray,

It's so fresh and clean place. Can't tell if this is at the center of metro city. You did great capturing this image with a lonely tree as balancing factor of the emptiness.

Nicely composed Murray and I guess just over the rise the ugliness of some of Sydney. Good colour and even though I feel you took this on a dismal day, the light is fine. TFS,

Many thanks for your comment on ‘First Basin IX’...I do hope to see it in flood one day my wife says that it is quite spectacular.

I love the capture primarily for what it tells us about Sydney and its unique environment
