Say Hello to my Little Friend

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I took this close-up at the Australian Reptile Park and Wildlife Sanctuary (http://www.reptilepark.com.au/) If I remember correctly, this was a baby freshwater crocodile. I think it would have come out better if I'd remembered to remove the Polarization filter. In pp I brightened the shadows 50% and reduced the highlights 10%. Thanks for looking.
The freshwater crocodile generally only grows to around 2 metres, although some specimens will attain a length of 3 metres. The back of the crocodile is light brown usually with a number of black, irregular bands. The underside is creamy-white. They can be distinguished from the larger saltwater crocodile by their longer and thinner snout. |
