A homeless man in Cleveland, Ohio. I paid him for this portrait that I took of him. He was very nice to talk to.

Indeed he looks kind and photo genetics, the details and lights are excellent and also very good frame well done ROBERT DAVEANT

Hello Robert,
This brings back nostalgic memories of the days of film photography when it was the kind of result that we strived for in camera and darkroom. The landscape format works very well and the quality is outstanding. This also serves to inspire me with a project that I have had in the back of my mind for some time now. I do not know what the reason is but in the town where I live we have a relatively large hospital for mentally derailed people with another 80 km away and yet another at 130 Km from here. One sees a homeless and mentally destitute person almost around every corner - either they must have escaped from there or should be institutionalised there. I hope I have the courage to do that project and that I can bring the sad fate of those unfortunate members of society to the attention of the world. Thank you for this inspirational work of art.

PS: Not assuming, though, that he is in that category.

Hi Robert,
Black and white a great choice always seems to bring out character and facial expression in more depth. The sad reality of life well presented however one still sees a sense of contempt.

Excellent portrait, the b&w is a very good choice in my opinion.
Great contrast and lighting.
His shy smile is touching, you were able to pay tribute to his heart, I am touched by this portrait.
I wish him all the best, Life is a blessing, Life is a fight.

Great portrait. Perfect sharpness and light. I love the details in his beard. Sad significance of this shot, the rich western world still has homeless human beings who were put in the condition to give up their dignity.

Well done Robert,
A fine portrait

Hi Robert

You have captured his inner sadness and resignation. The snow to the left bugs me though. Thanks for sharing.

What a strong portrait. You really brought out his character. Great image.
