Hello Philip, the cool colours add to the feeling of a desolate place.
I like the composition with the railway lines leading the eyes to the low sunlight in an attractively coloured sky.
Tfs, regards Jean.
Hi Philip...excellent shot. Great light, great tones with perfect exposure and focus.

Hi Philip, nice early morning/evening colours, adding a touch of colour to the deserted buildings.Fiona
Hi philip
Lovely winter landscape with a well thought out and well balanced composition. There is good perspective shown on the railway lines and a good enough dof for us to see a good distance down the track. The use of tripod and slow shutter shows the details in the building as the sun goes down. The colours from the sunset are lovely and emphasise the cold of the snow and feeling of emptiness and abandonment of this place.

Hi Philip
Please understand these are simply my personal opinions and are meant to be constructive and not cause any offence. And, of course, you have the option of accepting or rejecting them.
A beautiful, peaceful scene. Superb lighting and very well composed and balanced from an excellent point of view. I think I'll add this to my small list of favourite photographs. Thank you.
