Hi Tomasz,
I might be wrong, but I think this is a Methuselah tree. The oldest tree species in the world.
A really beautiful photo where the sand between the snow is leading the eye perfectly to the tree. The BG with its typical style mountain completes this perfect picture. The clouds is the sky are a nice copy of the snow on the ground.
This is a real keeper that should find a place on your wall.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Tom,I may have been tempted to remove the fence,to get the feeling of nature without the hand of man,but that's just my personal taste & takes nothing away from this very well taken landscape.Your choice of leading lines, the snow, the rocky shelf & the tree limb, guide the eye to the old gnarled tree & the red stone of the mountains in the background, with their sprinkling of snow, makes for a strong & pleasing visual.I would like to visit Zion at this time of year, the white of the snow against the red rocks of that area as well as Bryce Canyon, must make for some interesting landscapes.Well taken.

What a mood you have got here, Tomasz!

Light and exposure are fantastic, and colors are natural.
Good sharpness and well managed DOF with wonderful contrasts against an artistic sky.
Well executed work!

Best regards,

This is an incredible photo.

Technically so perfectly lit. The colours are incredible, nature revealed. Really excellent perspective you shot from, really good photo Tomasz.

A strong image with almost a three dimensional feel, drawing us into the heart of the scene. The deep blue appeals greatly, a stand out image.

Hi Tomasz,
A spectacular sky behind this lone tree! I like the PP work performed to produce this marvelous contrast. Nice vivid colors. Perfect details all over, especially in the snow.
Very neat work.

Francis Xavier

Hi Tomasz, it looks like even the snow is leaving the poor old tree on its own. I like the clouds, perfect match for the patches of snow. Fiona

Witaj Tomku
Bardzo dynamiczne ujęcie z ciekawym niebem, a śnieg też dodaje uroku. Dzisiaj byłam na długim spacerze po mocno zaśnieżonym lesie, więc może też coś zimowego pokażę.
Pozdrawiam
Ania

I love the effect achieved with the wide angle lens here Tomasz. Super detail and good dof. It is almost as if the branches of the tree curl upwards to lead our eye into the blue sky full of moving cloud. Well spotted and captured.
