[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Although Frankenmuth is in the US the area was settled and named in 1845 by conservative Lutheran immigrants from Roßtal area of Franconia (now part of Bavaria) in Germany, hence the colours flying. The autumn colours were very much in evidence when we paid a visit to Bonners Christmas Store and the town.I tried to clone out one of the signs in the bg but it didnt look natural (signs can be inconveniently placed somtimes!)

Beautiful fall colors. As you know, we just don't get the lovely reds here, like they do in other parts of the country.
I wanted to have a go at cloning out the signs ... just curious what I could do,so I did a workshop. I also cropped a little lower from the top, to get rid of that little corner of sky in top left.
Have a great week
Trudy
P.S - for some reason, I've reloaded the workshop image twice, and my crop from the top didn't "save". Anyway,, that was my intention :)

Hi David.

Colours indeed, I recognise this scene from an earlier image of yours. The trees have amazing colours that mix....the flags also look good as additions to colour. tfs

Hi David,
Beautiful Autumn colors of these trees. I like the warm ambient of this POV with this couple approaching us and giving a good sense of scale.
A very sharp image adorned with splendid diffused lighting.
Well done,

Francis Xavier

Ciao David, nice composition with lovely flags, fantastic autumnal colors, excellent clarity and splendid light, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

A riot of colour with plenty going on in this photo. Exposure was well controlled. The inclusion of the two people adds a bit of life and interest also.

I like the daily life scene you have captured here, David!
Good details of the trees and the nice clarity with amazing contrasts existing within the picture.
Nice sharpness and DOF as well.

Kind regards,
Paras

Hello David,

The hoisting flags have similarities with autumn colors of the area. And you've aesthetically chosen PoV. A beautiful comspotion in excellent colors, luminosity and details. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Kind Regards,
Inaam
