[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In Berkeley there is an old warehouse that has been purchased and designated a place where Graffiti artists have been invited to paint. As a result this place is very interesting and attracts photographers, videographers as well as art enthusiasts.

I spent a few hours there and decided to try to photograph the art and the people who visited the warehouse.

I used a 24mm Tilt Shift lens for the shots in the warehouse. Because of the shift capability of the lens there is almost no distortion in the images.

I will post three images from this shoot.

Hi Roger,
Nice play with light and shadows. Beautiful graffiti on the walls. I like the light on the photographer's face. Again excellent use of the shift lens.
Good work.

Hello

bravo et amitié
Nicou

Creating a place for graffiti artists to express their artistic ability is very original and great concept. Los Angeles has such a place, and I would recommend most cities to create one. Good idea to have a photographer, another type of artist, in the photo. Good lighting and dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.

A good show of wall artwork with such amazing light and exposure, Roger!

Good focus and perfect POV for showing the charm and beauty of this indoor location.
The addition of two persons give the scale of these painting on the wall.
Well captured mood in here!

Kind regards,
Paras

Certainly a place to visit..
Like the reflection of the photographers standing in front of the window.
You are lucky to have the chance to visit place like this one
clear and sharp

many look over geometry, me too as look over the lines that up down right left and there I found the split shoes but every one has a style of capture as many gives this importence as many neglect, it is nice shot but with shoes, TFS.

I would love to be in this place at this time...with all the shadows and graffiti :D

Hello Roger,I like this alternative PoV from the warehouse, now with the windows to the side of the composition.
The man in the bg balances the shot for me.And once again the shadows from the windows play a good part in the picture.

How does this place work? Do artists paint over work that is already there? It looks of quite a high standard. It is a great idea.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Very interesting place.....
Thanks to share it with us,,,,
Claude

Simply stunning atmosphere in this one Roger.

I can just imagine seeing the Eiffel Tower in the distance through the window.

The lighting ans shadows are...stunning.

Into my favourites.

Cheers,
Pete.
