Hi Julie,

as usual to avoid a poor show i will don't venture in a speech about the photographic technique, for me is enough to have a look at the thin fragility of the petals -especially in the left flower- in this your photo.And even though there were imperfections, i really think they would be negligible.

This image is excellent. I love the detail captured of the raindrops and the delicate pink colour of the flowers. Wonderful lighting to achieve the translucency in the petals.

I love the bokeh and the this bunch of wet flowers which look so pretty against it, Juliet!

Hi Julie, I envy you for the lovely Hollyhocks and the rainyou had to have those beautiful droplets.
Its such a close up that you feel they are looking at you. Just a gorgeoous presentation.

Our Hollyhocks were blooming one day and then they all died - we have since weeks no rain to speak off and we can not water everything. Water day and night our vegies.
