PP my Image
I like this simple shot with a stunning reflection in a small pond of the petrol station. A daily life shot adorned with good light. Maybe your PP work is a little bit exaggerated but still is attractive!
Reminiscent of Route 66 Ron, but I feel it needs some foreground interest.

very eyecatching; a great balance between shapes , colours and lights.Very clear image and something unreal in what could be an ordinary landscape

Hello Ronald :)
Silence, quiet, torrid heat and wind, I went through this desert with my son
and admired these westernowe sceneries in the crash with the reality. This place lighted up through the sun surrounded hills looks very curiously.
The very pretty composition in natural colours the light in the good realization.
I like him.
With best wishes.
I did do a workshop. I put the #1s on the wrong side of the sign.......I was attempting to bring the price down......oh well I had fun with a real good image to play with.
Thanks for putting an interesting image up for members to play around with. I have put your tips on partial b/w to the test here with a workshop on the image. Your technique works well but I need alot more practice as going round the area to remain coloured is difficult, so in the end I picked a simple shape. I tried to use the replace colour to make the red of the lettering brighter and although I picked the colour and applied it, nothing happened. I must be doing something wrong there but don't know what. I will keep practising though and thanks for your help.
Well composed using the rule of thirds with a nice reflection in the bottom right corner. I tried boosting saturation 50% and playing with contrast & levels as well as burning in the highlights. Tfs!
Ever saw or heared about the film "Bagdad Café", that thought did come to mind right away, then I saw it. Your image got the same mood and light. the composition and perspective is really interesting.
Tho a touch too cyan, or blue, "not as much as in my WS...but I kind of like the coolness it bring to this image.
Exposure is right, with good spread in tonal range.
Well done Ron,
