[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These covered the grounds at an abandoned cemetery near Livingston, Texas. My dad took us there many years ago. My sister and I found this place again this past weekend. A place where slaves are buried. Slaves typically got a small maker with their initials, or nothing at all. It's a very sad place. I took 3 rolls of film this past weekend in the cemeteries in this area. Can't wait to show you..

I am amazed at the circular swirl of the bokeh for such a modern lens... the swirly bokeh gives the flowers a nice vibrant POP... well done.... Roman

You are a bokeh professional Linda...Nice composition and shallow DOF and great colors. TFS

I do enjoy capturing such sights and you have caught another wonderful floral image from blue beauties against a pleasing bokeh, Linda B-)

The details are good and focus on the flowers is nicely kept.
Sharpness and POV are well done, and colors are natural.
Light and exposure are beautifully handled too.

Kind regards,

Nice one Linda,

Your backdrop is very painterly, the colours are lovely as is the detail.

Another fabulous bokeh photo Linda. Rich colour, good use of narrow DOF, although I'd like to see the bottom right flower in focus too as I feel it's part of the main subject here. Great light even with the direct sun.

I look forward to your cemetery with the medium format...

Hi Linda

Nice repetition of the blue flowers & they set up a superb warm vs cold color contrast against the bg yellow green foliage. Good use of a shallow dof with excellent sharpness on the flowers & wonderful bokeh. Have a nice week!

Hello Linda :)

Pretty and very original flowers, they look as butterflies
and they contrast with the green background nicely.
The very nice and showy composition :)

I greet You warmly.
