Peaceful Resting Place

Found on a friend's farm, this was her grandfather's plumbing truck. It's probably been resting here for 50 years.
I've been toying around with the blown-out HDR look. This is a hand held 3 shot bracketed HDR. I desaturated the reds, blues and magentas to remove most of the color from the truck, while boosting greens and yellows for the plant life around it. Heavily tone-mapped with a large radius unsharp mask. |

I like the mood and the blown-out HDR worked quite well here, dear Werner!
Good control on exposure and wlel managed light do give the picture a long-lasting look.
The colors are bit intense but details are promising in the scene.
Nice POV and well kept DOF too.
Kind regards,
Paras

Hi Werner
The intense emerald green colors of the foliage serve to contrast well agaisnt the monochromatic b&w tints of the old plumbing truck. Good sharpness & excellent pp work with the unsharp mask. The tree at right frames the old vehicle well. Tfs!
