This was a risky move I did. The very first time I put the d40 to work in a wedding. yes. a wedding. Although I had my other camera with me as my side arm still I pretty determined to give my d40 a shot. It wasn't very fast and it did look a little goofy but hey, I did the job and they clients were happy with my work and I got paid! That's all you really need.

Technical aspects of the shot. well theres not much to it. as you can see my shutter speed was a little slower than normal thats because I was not using any flash here with a lens that's not too great in low light conditions but as i was looking at the result the other hand's blurred and the movement and in my opinion it just adds a little "action" to the photo. obviously this specific frame is paired with a much wider angle of them both. :)

anyway to cut it short. im very happy with the result of the risk i took in taking a slower camera in a fast paced paid event which just proves that if you just believe you will succeed! :) :)

hope you guys like it!

Hello Antonio

I like the risk that you took. The B/w treatment, the robe of the pastor to give it Gods seal, her ring, and the readiness of his hand as she puts the ring on his finger. Unusual but very effective. Thats why I love this art. Alot like life and the chances we take. You never know until you try.
