[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a photo i took for her project.
I figured I needed to put a nice cover photo for her portfolio album.
This is a 2 strobe setup. with softbox for the keylight and an umbrella for the rim light.

nikon d90 with a 50mm prime.

The softbox was position just about 45 deg above her facing down. i wanted to bring the shadows on her face down. so it wont completely cover the other side of her face. the other strobe with the umbrella on was positioned on her back facing the farther side of her back just enough light on her shoulders. its hard to describe how it was positioned but just experiment the position to see where the light draws on the shape of your models body.

PP work was kinda weird. cause the background was a black muslin fabric that was folder so many times so you can see the wrinkles everywhere. i had to burn the whole thing to clean it.

then tweaked the curves to emphasize the darkness of it and really show where the light is directed. a little dodge and burns on the face and sharpening the whole image. :)

Thats about everything i did to this frame. :)

Good use of soft box and umbrella resulting in an attractive photo. Good focus, POV and pp work. Well done and TFS
