[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Shenandoah National Park is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of northwestern Virginia. Central to the park is Skyline Drive, a road that runs the entire 105mi (169km) of the park. One of the main features is more than 60 scenic valley overlooks of the Shenandoah Valley, Mountains, and the George Washington National Forest on the west and the Blue Ridge range on the east. This is particular view is looking west with the Shenandoah Mountains in the far background.

Shot in RAW and PP began in PS-RAW adjusting clarity, vibrance, and other basic RAW adjustments. Then using NIK Sharpener, Dfine (noise reduction), and in Viveza made specific color balance adjustment. Using NIK HDR, made some further color adjustments but keeping the HDR on the subtle side and save this as the final color layer. Finally, I made a monochrome layer using NIK Silver Efex to achieve the final look.

Cher Larry

Magnifique paysage en noir et blanc
the final look and especially the sky tones and contrast get the high quality of a photofilm.
West Virginia Shenandoah river Blue Ridge Mountains... Exactly like in the famous John Denver's " take me home, coutry roads"!

Lab,
A nicely composed shot from a great POV. The composition of the sky is what I like most about this shot. The NIK silver Efex gives the shot a more creative look, however, I really like color version with the contrast of colors in the mountainside in the upper left. Nice work.

Hello Larry,
It's a beautiful presentation in monochrome. Variety of grey tones can be seen in fine details of objects. Wonderful shot my friend, thanks for sharing.
