[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A small bug, contently sitting near the window in my house. He looked somewhat like a big weevil, because he had the most unusual trunk (like an elephant) which he had tucked into his chest.

After clicking a few shots, he suddenly seemed to wake up from his sleep and scurry for shelter. It was almost like watching a cartoon, where a character frantically runs and tries to bury himself into the ground, head first, with legs flaying in the air. He did that while trying to hide inside a crevice in the wood. Quite funny!

This pic was clicked using a reverse mounted lens.

What a superb macro capture from a bug but it completely looks Extra-terrestrial already, especially through your lens ;-)

Great focus and perfect management of light, as it could have been tricky because of mono-colored (black) insect.
I like the shining (compound) eye of the insect which is shown so beautifully.
The sharpness and POV are excellent.
