[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Flamingo's are some of the first animals or birds you see upon entering the Columbus Zoo. I am always fascinated with these beautiful birds. They are so colorful and always standing on just one leg. Anyway, this is the shot I liked most. I liked the position on his head and the different colors in the feathers.

Tech stuff: Rather simple shot really. The exposure was 1/200, f4.0 and ISO 160. In PP I adjusted vibrance +10, cropped, added a little vignette, resized and the sharpened. I hope you like this shot and thanks for viewing.

Now there is some vivid color. That POV is awesome of the bird preening. I find the birds a pain to take images of. I like that lens you have. I hope to get one some day.

Hi Kevin,
A wonderful tight crop for this Flamingo! A plesant posture of the head of this bird among its colorful feathers!
An artistic composition with great management in lighting and shadows. Such a sharp image, especially the eye!
