I found a bird in a tree today and he let me get really close. It is hot and dry in Texas, hardly any wildflowers blooming, the winds were 30-40mph....amazingly like September around here, instead of April.

Simply outstanding effort to get such a sharp shot and get so close to this bird. The lighting is perfectly falling on its face with a beautiful glint in the eye and revealing immense feather details. The BG bokeh is beautifully rendered and the composition is very artistic indeed. A fine bird shot that shows skill, planning and patience to achieve such a fine result- well done!

Best wishes,

Hi,Linda. This is an awesome photo of the young bird in its struggle for survival and it seems anxious to take the plunge. The focus and glint in the eye looks so real. Natural colors , exposure and composition has the maestro touch. Cheers.

Hello Linda,
Awesome photo of this little bird. Great focus, sharpness & blur BG.
Well done.

Hi Linda,
This is a cute little bird. I think it's a Maya because we also have it here in Philippines.
I like the position of the bird and the colors. Sharp image on the subject.

Wonderful job! I like it. :)

Lovely shot of a young sparrow. Nice colours and gr8 clarity. Regards...

Nice sharp image Linda, with nice bokeh too. Great off-center placement, and the way the light is falling is interesting also. It looks like it's saying "do I have to (fly)?" Cute.
