[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was at an outdoor concert and was sitting behind this woman; her tattoo kept catching my eye. She told me that the image is the head of Dr. Strange, a Marvel Comics character first created in the early 1960s. The title of my image references the tag sticking up in the middle of her back ("S" for small).

I cropped, sharpened, selectively sharpened the tattoo and the trim and strap of her shirt, and added a vignette.

Greetings Sandy,
I know looking at your gallery, that you know what your doing
when it comes to photography,so my viewpoint on this image may be way out in left field.I don't find it has a lot of impact or interest to me personally, that's not to say that many here @ TL will have the same viewpoint, but what I thought would have more impact would be, if the tattoo only had been left in colour,or a tighter crop showing from the top of shoulder strap, down,& still have the Tattoo seperated by having it in colour. No disrespect, just my viewpoint.

Sandy, I think that I would have taken a photo too! Quite an interesting subject with the lace cami and the contrasting Dr. Strange (which has no feminine quality whatsoever) HAHAHa.

I wish her darn tag had been tucked in her cami as I find it a bit distracting. I'm sure that's just a "girl" thing though. I played with your photo a bit-seeing what it would look like cropped at her shoulder, and a few other ways. I do think you have it cropped perfectly! Interesting subject and interesting tatoo.... I guess Dr. Strange will age right along with her! Lisa

Very nice composition and especially because it's in B&W. Great natural lighting. Good details. Well done, tfs.

Boa tarde Sandy

I have seen first your last photo , the night is very well captured , indeed. You have a great quality of capture in your photos.
But I thinks this one is more " a photo" for me of course. This composition has so feminine detalis so interestings. thanks Linda I can say " her tag on her shirst is sticking up" so delicious and so interesting detail, not only tatoo. For me you have shown a portrait of a woman with these details and also her "dress" hair, her necklace,,, . I find her singular. also I like the title you have choosen " S", another detail that it will be lost ...if you had spoke in your photo.
Diversity is a magic thing.
