Per Wikipedia: "The beautiful nature of water lilies has led to their widespread use as ornamental plants. The Mexican water lily, native to the gulf coast of North America, is planted throughout the continent. It has escaped from cultivation and become invasive in some areas, such as California's San Joaquin Valley. It can infest slow moving bodies of water and is difficult to eradicate. Populations can be controlled by cutting top growth."

Hi Sandy:
I don't get time to capture as much as I would like to...of nature... and so this type of imaging is very appealing...I see that you have give this a good color saturation and nice composition...
wonderful work!!!
David

Beautiful Sandy. Love the whole series of water lily shots (FB). The dark reed shadows, leaves and flowers are as sharp as can be and the light and colors are gorgeous. Nicely constructed shot too.
Trudy

A beautiful capture from waterlilies and the floating green leaves, Sandy!
The sharpness and POV are amazing and color are superb. The game between the light and shadows is well shown.
The focus is spot-on and clarity is well done.
Great job!

Greetings,
Paras
