|Yesterday I went to a German Festival to enjoy some beer, bratwurst and music. This is a candid snap of Joe Wendel and his band wrapping up their set. I really like his genuine smile; one can tell he enjoys what he’s doing. This brings back a flood of memories from my childhood. I fondly remember the German parties, where music was provided by a neighbor who played the accordion very well. He had the same infectious smile.|
I converted to B&W using the channel mixer, sharpened and resized this for posting. There is a bit of a tilt, and the direction can be debated whether you line up the background column or the stage settings. I didn’t correct it because I thought it best not to do any cropping. The background sky is what it is, it was very humid and the temperatures were over 100°F.
Thanks for viewing.
