Big Thumb Basin II
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Another shot of a thermal pot at Big Thumb Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park. I am intrigued by the cool colors that come from a very hot source. Taken with the wide angle lens to get as much of the scene into the frame as possible. A circular polarizer was used to cut reflections and bring out the bright and rich colors. I think the steam adds a nice element to the image.|
