[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yesterday I posted an image of my son, and today it's my daughter. Here she is about to leave for her first high school formal dance. As you can imagine, I took many, many photos of her that evening.

I converted to black & white, cropped, lightened her eyes, and not much else.

Hi Sandy, you must be proud of your daughter and of your son.
Very well captured, great timing and eye contact, she has beautiful eyes.
Perfect focus on subject and non too distracting bokeh.
B/W is a classic for portraiture, and this is an example of good b/w use.

Hello Sandy,

This is a great portrait of your daughter. She is beautiful.
I like your choice for black and white.
Excellent focus, sharpness and light.

Warm greetings and best wishes,

Nice girl. Amazing princess. Good BW work. Very fine portrait.

Hi Sandy...beautiful shot of your lovely daughter..nice pose and composition.

Hi Sandy,

Kudos to you for posting a photo of your lovely daughter. This is a special occasion, and I'm sure this photo will bring back fond memories in the years to come. You B&W conversion is well done and I love the eye contact she is making with the camera. My personal taste would be to have the negative space to the right, but I'm only nit-picking ;))

Great portrait!

Best regards,

Hello Sandy,
A proud moment for you and well captured here.
B/W is an excellent choice here for portraiture.
Nicely done and congrats to your daughter.

A stunning portrait of a beautiful girl. B&w is very appropriate.
Composition could have been improved by providing space in front of the subject(image right).
The soft lighting is gorgeous!

Hi Sandy,
a very nicely composed shot with natural hues. The black and white gives a good smoothness to the view and the blurry background is quite dramatic.
i like the her curly hairs and the way her simple pose.
such an effective portrait.

Wow Sandy , I have been out all the WE
She is so geat...now she lost all the vestiges of a little girl.
Good eye contact, good on focus , good bg. I like so much the magie and the bright of her eyes.
Good b/W work---I am going to search your son too. See u

OH my!! No wonder you're very proud ... she's a real beauty Sandy! Beautiful B&W .. love the way you've positioned her within the shot, love the B&W tones, and the muted background. A little shine in her eyes might have been nice .. but I don't know how you could have achieved that. Anyway, it's a lovely shot ... one to keep for ever and ever!
Cheers .. have a great week.

she is indeed the princess that make u proud..
she has beautiful expression and the character strongly presented in black and white..
very nice bokeh as well..
