[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We have not seen the sun in Pittsburgh for almost two weeks, during which time the weather has been gray, cold and snowy. Yesterday the sun finally made a welcome appearance, so I tried to get some shots of winter scenes around sunset. Here, the sun was just about to slip below the horizon and sent it's last fiery rays across our neighbor's black iron fence.

Hello,

fantastique perspective sur cette barrière, quel effet de brillance et de graphsime de beau rouge avec le blanc de la neige, grandiose.

Bravo et amitié

Boa noite Sandy
I miss this...wonderful light...so warm so beautiful the fall down in the gate and snow. So warm. Very beautiful.
Wish you everything all right.
Um abraço
Teresa

Hi Sandy, the image has beautiful golden 'burning' hues in the fence versus the snow on the floor and trees.
The snow in the lefy side of the fence and the trees have a redish colour which I guess has been produced by your boosting of red saturation, if I´m right at this point I suggest you to select only the fence by using the freehand selection tool before boosting reds or/and yellows.
Great Composition and sharpness in foreground.

The most striking thing about this shot is the difference in colour temperatures - the yellow/red hues of the setting sun vs. the blue hues of the diffuse, snow-reflected light. The warm-versus-cold is quite literally illustrated. Beautiful shot.
