eyes of discernment
I like the close up view of this shot but the size of the posting is too small. You can post a photo maximum width of 800, whereas this is 273.
I like the filter and the notes you have left.
Welcome to Trek Lens Larry.
If you need any help, do not hesitate to ask me.

Hi Larry - I'm going to be a little harsher than Scott due to the size and because I have a deep-rooted personal hatred of pet snaps ;-)
Having said that, welcome to TL! You've caught a full-on frontal portrait very nicely and tried some pp work to enhance the image and that deserves full credit. Nice wee note as well - I hope you enjoy it here!

This is a good experiment on the face of your cat and a good exercise on processing. The close up made the face look fiercer than the usual cat's face.
Welcome to TL

Good to see you here Larry - more freedom and not as serious as TN. (I learnt a lot on TN when I first joined - there were some wonderful helpful teachers there at the beginning.)
Yes, nice close-up of Willow's face and I like your PP (post processing) work you've done on it. But I agree with the others about the size - much too small.

Uy... those eyes are so powerful. For the texture, this one looks like a paint. TFS (means: thanks for sharing). Welcome,

Howdy Larry and welcome to TL...my husband's family is from Jamestown PA, right around Erie. But I'm from Texas, so expect a more southern critique from me! LOL! This is nice, I got 4 cats, but like Scott says, it's pretty small. But I DO love the tight crop here, and truly no need to do any wild pp work, Don't go too extreme with it all. Just be sure and remember that we are critiquing your picture, NOT YOU, so don't take anything personally, even though some folks can be harder than others. And remember, this is a world-wide thing, so sometimes translations may come across differently. Just have a great time and you will learn lots!
B-) B-) (l8tr I'm all out!)

Hello Larry, Welcome along to Treklens, I do hope you find it educational, and enjoyable. Dont take too much to heart, you will get different views from different people. Anyway Happy Birthday...hope you had a great day.
And what a lovely photo to start with here. Im different to old Kilted-Arab there..ha ha.. as I like pet photos, and I think you have done a grand job on your PP work here, as it enhances the texture of the cats fur.
As stated its a little small, but we ALL make that mistake usually to start with.. never mind.
So, greetings from New Zealand

Nice eyes of this cat! Very neat color. I like the close crop too. I would like to know what the cat is thinking.
It is a small size, but it took me a while to get it sized correctly. I find that photofiltre is nice for sizing the photos.
Thanks for sharing... and WELCOME! Lisa (a dog lover)
