[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taking a leisurely walk around Horn Pond in Woburn, Massachusetts, last fall, I really liked the late afternoon sun and how it played with the pines on either side of the path. The small lake is unseen to the left and the roadway to the right. This suburb of Boston has done a nice job of incorporating parks into their city planning and not just paved over everything in the name of growth.

No cropping or adjustments, just slight sharpening and frame added.

Beautiful light you caught with very nice colors. Perfect exposure keeping details in light and shadow areas, great composition and frame.

Hi Bob, welcome back!

Good colours and sharpness in this one. To me, the composition is a little bit too tight. I get the impression that there are open fields to the left but cannot tell for sure.

I don't know i the over exposed highlights could havebeen avoided but they don't really bother me. They give a good impression of the strength of the sun light and I think it suites the scene nicely.

Nice shot, not so keen on the textured frame though - maybe a plain frame would work better.

Hi Bob,
I really like this kind of nature photos. A walk in the pine forest, far from anywhere... This is what I thought before reading Your note. Nice warm colors, wonderful compo, great matte. Congrats and tfs.
