Distant layers of mountains ranges, seen from Oro Valley, where I live. The view looks past the Tucson Mountains, to the Quinlan Mountains and Kitt Peak. Kitt Peak is the home of Kitt Peak National Observatory. You can see 2 telescopes on the distant mountain, the rounded night scope on the right and the triangular solar scope to the left.

There is still a bit of noise but considering it was taken at dusk, at a 3200 iso, I thought the noise levels were acceptable.

strong centralized POV and controlling theme not a bunch of ideas competing with each other. Basic bold beautiful

Great shot David, sometimes less is more,
and when it's a shot like this that is certainly the case,
This is all you need to get a sense of the moment.
Well done.

Hi, David.
A wonderful artistic shot.
My congratulations for this nice effect. Awesome result!

hi david.
pure beauty captured here.
wonderful silhouettes of the bg mountanis, perfect color tone, just a bit of noise as an add for the strong mood.
imo the inner white border is a bit too large.

hi David

I like the softness in this shot, in the layers of mountains and the outline.

The grainy effect from ISO3200 shows here.

Hi David,
It looks like a Japanese water colour. You haven't said if you needed to do any post processing to achieve this colour. It is so simple, it stirs the imagination.
Thank you,
