OK one more race shot, tiz the season for car races and shows. The last of a little go fast series. This is a gear box to one of the small open wheeled racers.

Kodak ultra color 400 scanned/Minolta Dimage 5400, increased contrast and color, cropped sharpened and resized for TL.

Nice detail shot, Dennis. Good contrast between the functional, mechanical gearbox part of the photo and the artistic, sweeping lines of the cowling. Very well composed.

Interesting shop Dennis, I like it. Impressive the equipment on racing car. Yesterday I was walking in the Old Montreal and I saw a Ferrari, a new one, you can see the engine through a window on the top of the back hood, very impressive also. I didn't take a picture, it was too dark in the street.
Best regards
Guy

Well, this is an amazingly clean piece of car equipment, Dennis.... well spotted, and well shot too. Interesting to see how they can break these cars in pieces for fast replacement. TFS
