[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello all - On a tour of "The Wilds" - a private, non-profit conservation center located on nearly 10,000 acres of reclaimed mine land in rural southeastern Ohio. It was created as the conservation center of the future by a group of civic leaders, political leaders and zoo professionals who believed that a serious scientific approach was required to find solutions to environmental concern - we got up close to this herd of zebras... did you know that gestation for female zebras is 360 days! Yikes!

I adjusted to black and white to sharpen the contrast of the shot, and cropped in a bit... their patterns mesmerize me.

Great crop and conversion to b&w; sharp and good control of contrast enhances 'mesmeric' effect but keeps detail. Nice note too!
