|Photo taken for the final project in a Black and White photo class at my university. I realize that some parts of this photo look to be over/under exposed. This is a scan, and I could have scanned at a higher resolution but then there would be no way to get the file down to a 200kb max for TL. The actual print looks 10 times better than this.|

very interesting composition. The balanced use of the light emphatizes the texture of the different materials and the shadows make them alive!
Good subject and well done in b&w but some parts are overexposed and some underexposed. I think a closer up was better
Great texture on the pipe; I really like the crossing radial swirls, or whatever you'd call them. This looks like a hard print to develop, because your background wall could stand a little more contrast but some parts of the foreground (the elbow at the pipe) are washed out. Was the contrast blown out in the scanning?
Either way this is a fun piece... tfs
