[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An expression of the human condition. The shadows that lurk around us, yet that strength from the Soul that is awe inspiring. The eyes being the beacons that shine your heavenly light.

Step forward the new is halfway you
You will go to this place which you feel is disgrace
Fortunately I will help you see it from another view
Your new is halfway you
No reason to reside on the shadow hardened side
Reveal yourself for the Earths wild stride
Your new is halfway you
Your old is being skewed
Wake up bring forward your consciousness is whole
For the Universal Father has given spirit and soul
Your new is being true
With this essence in my flight
Never worry for all your stirring
You'll soon be aided by the Light
Your new is almost you
Can you see the change
Your new is now you
You are rearranged
mww-somewhere around 97-98

Post-Process-I will give it a try.
-Crop original, levels, contrast.
-Painted over with brush @50% left side of face to remove bg.
-Mainly worked with the green channel
-Saturation=Colorize(settings +15 I think and hue change to more sepia)
-Duplicated layer and used overlay onto b/w below. Erased the eyes to reveal better definition underneath.
-Bring in original color photo for 3rd layer and erased all but the eyes. Set this layer at color and 82% opacity. Dodged eyes 1 time for more definition.
-USM at 41, 13.8, 20

All comments and critiques are very welcome.

Well, just figured out that I do not like the little white spot underneath my right eye. It's the rest of my eyelash, should of cloned that out.
You'll have that from time to time when conditions are favorable.

WOw the texture are very sharp and the eyes so strength.
I like the framing.

It likes a capture from the Artifical Intelligience...Excellent work.

Strong and intense image... I really like how this is cropped. Also, really nice to see so much detail on how this was achieved.

Thanks for the post.

All the best.

Quite an amazing image Michael. Your PP was quite interesting. The eyes are spooky.

I think this is a very strong shot, Michael. And it is a pity that it seems to have been missed by our community. Despite, or maybe thanks to, your excessive PP work it looks very natural. TFS.

Wow! This is a really nice self portrait. The light and shadows falling on your face is very nice. Good work with the post processing, it looks so natural. Well done.
I've added this photo to two themes.
