A big thank you to Adam, another wonderful creation he has here. I knew this photo was not appropriate for TE but I hope it is here and doesn't go against the TOS. If so, please let me know and I'll remove it promptly.

This was an earlier experiment with the macro mode on my camera. This really is my best friend's eye. His name is Tucker and he's a Weimaraner. He's a big boy too, 8 months old and about 80lbs. For post processing, I mostly played around with the "Fade Correction" and "Clarify". Added a small frame. BTW, he says "Hi". :-)

Great to see you here, Stephen, and great to meet Tucker. a great macro. Amazing eyes. Did Tucker like the picture?
Well done.

Wonderful macro Stephen. Not much to but perfect in any way. I never thought on a macro in this way. Thanks for showing this idea.

Hi Stephen,

Nice to see you here too. What is it they say "The yes are the mirror of the soul". Amazing how you got Tucker to stand still like that, to get a sharp picture. Very nice details on the fur around the eye. DoF is good.

Good macro. Tucker's eyelashes are so well defined. Can even see them in the eye's reflection. One day would like to see his full image. Well done.

Looking for it´s soul...you did a excellent job! it´s a lovely macro, the sharp is great and you the big iris just staring at you! Well done!

Impressive shot, Stephen! I bet you tried this “experiment” many times, as animals (including humans) don’t tend to be quite cooperative with this kind of macro shots ;-) Anyway, the effort was, imho, well rewarded with a remarkable result. I like a lot the light reflected in its eye, as this is the kind of details that add a lot of emotion to a picture.

Nice seeing you over here, Stephen, and nice meeting Tucker as well. A very impressive result you got - the light and reflection from his eye is very well captured, and the details around are almost having a 3D feel to them. Great shot.

It's not easy to catch a dog's eye. Young ones are sometimes a bit speedy. The result is very pleasant and well framed. Very catchy image.
