[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Cascade Canyon in the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. A crisp September morning with a full moon in the sky.

Noise reduction via Neat Image.
Minor Sharpening
Cropped the foreground to eliminate distracting shadow of the photographer. (Remember it was early morning and the sun was very low behind me.)

Great use of existing light nice internal framing of the shot I would have taken the crop line furhter leaving the mountains to create an alley if interest.

Great landscape, nice compo. did a ws hope you like it

Hi Bill,
This is a wonderful photo of a beautiful view and in a really spectacular place. I've looked at both WS's but I feel that both are not improving the photo at all. Sergie destroyed the soft morning light and Texan cut of the FG. I think yours is just perfect especially with the moon captured as well.

I would not change a thing on this post. You have great colour and focus, good foreground and background which is also your main subject and the the moon overlooking the scene. Well done and TFS

Hi Bill

I agree with Niek, this image is great as it stands. The foreground adds depth to the image and gives us a sense of the openness of the area. Perfect as it is - great shot!

I would also like to warn you that Texan is well know for handing out poor advice to newcomers on this site. Please check his portfolio to see the calibre of his postings - then decide if his advice is worth taking.

Hi Bill,

Excellent scenery! The earth colors are amazing, the details are very good. TFS

I agree with the other posters who say "don't change a thing".
The WS's simply downgrade your photo or show another view of what you captured. I like the photo with the foreground AND the soft light.
Well done and take Kilted's warning!!
