[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this photo while hiking on Beacon Rock in the Columbia River Gorge. The wind was blowing and I wasn't sure it would turn out at all. It is out of focus because of it, but I kind of like the "blurry" effect. I have no idea what kind of flowering bush this is.

Cropped, levels, increase contrast, resize, sharpened, framed.

The darker pink flowers against the green background looks picture perfect to me, I sometimes like a picture that is a little blurry, it adds character (smile) well done on this one!

Hi Lori,

You did take a picture of some pretty flowers. The composition looks good and so does the exposure. As for the blur, I don't agree with you there. The flowers are delicate and to not see them because of a motion blur, in my opinion, detracts from their delicacy. I would suggest you run the image through some filters that will either enhance (I actually blurred the image more with a gaussian blur of about 10 pixels and I liked it better) or hide the blur....just to see what you get, though I know you are already pleased with the image. Still, the flowers are pretty and they were a good subject.

Thanks for the post.
