Black Billed Magpie building a nest. The birds can hardly carry the large twigs they fly into there nests. I've observed them flying into the bottom limbs of these pine trees and then that hop from limb to limb on their way UP to their nests. Put this in perspective: It would be comparable to a human carrying a 3 inch diameter stick 5-6 feet in length in our mouths!!
