|This is the result of a side trip to Nevada while on a trip to Death Valley, back when I shot only film, and mostly B&W that I would develop and print myself in my darkroom.|
If you head out of Death Valley to the East towards Beatty, there is a road on the left a few miles shy of Beatty that leads to the ghost town of Rhyolite, once a prosperous mining town. This view is of the mainstreet of the downtown, underground. I think this was the basement of the bank. The grate that is letting in the light was put here fairly recently to prevent folks from falling in as they walked on the sidewalk above.
