Hi !

Amazing Photo, lovely colours good pov!

Hello Carl

What can I say, colours, pov, the smoke and steam all in the frame, a great shot. Perhaps it could do with a little rotation CW? The hills (I expect they may be mountains) in the bg seem to falling over to the left. The weather helps with steam in the landscape no end. Great to see so much preserved steam in hte US.
Regards, Leslie

What a beautiful and dramatic shot. The smoke is perfectly exposed and the image surprisingly sharp given the moving target and 1/80 seconds. Your best so far.

wonderful shot and use of wide lens.

Hi Carl,

Really, I like the image. Very strong composition in terms of placement of all elements. I mostly like the smoke here being hit by the soft light, sharp image with very appealing POV. Well captured!

Hi Carl

A fantastic catch of the smoke belching train. The patches of snow add good graphism. Superb colour & sharpness. Tfs!

Hello Carl, excellent PoV with the train seeming to come round towards us in a curve.
The plume of cloud is fantastic!
The wintery light shows up all the textures beautifully.
The mountains in the bg make a great backdrop.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Well done!

Hi Carl,

Nice picture of a train. Low and warm light gives a beautifull texture to the landscape and the smoke. Composition is well balanced. Normally we recommand leaving more room in front of the subject than behind so the subject has place to move. But in you case, your decision to put it on the right side of the image is good so you have plenty of room for the smoke which is an important element in your image. Nice shot and TFS.

good work.
