[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Mallory and I did a photo shoot yesterday in Los Angeles. I brought one strobe with me so that was the only light. Her apartment had white walls so we cleared a space on the floor and shined the strobe directly up at the ceiling so it would reflect from above. It is amazing to me how much you can get from one light source and how in many cases it is better than using multiple lights.

This shot is meant to be a Retro photograph similar to the '40's and '50's where the Hollywood actresses were elegant, wholesome and still very sexy..

At last a colour portrait after a long time. Excellent light source. I like this retro idea of the past. Very few can do portraits like you. Thanks for sharing these type of portraits and the note.
