Let's do it one more time - this will be the last of three revisits to Upper Antelope Canyon, Page, Arizona. As mentioned in the last two postings, this image is from a visit to the canyon last September. I selected this one because of the texture of the sandstone. The formation of the canyon and the striations on the walls has been caused by the action of floodwater over the centuries. A truly magical place and a must visit if you are ever in northeastern Arizona.

PP: Processed in CS3's camera raw, two layers processed to bring out the highlights and shadows blended together. Sized and framed for TL.

I enjoy your series a lot. In this shot, I like the smooth texture of the stone that is evident on the lower right portion.

just like a painting you could see the brush stroke and even feel it, realy amazing place i hope i could visit that place even once in my life

Exquisite. Beyond words:)

Hi Daniel,
From the three antilope postings I like this one the most. The contrast is superb here and the colours are very moodish. Great camera handling, good use of the minamal light which created a superb mood. The presentation in the black frame is outstanding, but try next time to use a smaller font for the text in the frame. Anyway a great picture my friend.

Hi Dan,

It is indeed a wonderful canyon and one I now remember and associate with you.

Great job and attractive lines in the sandstone.

Hello Daniel, that's a wonderful shot my friend, great colors and textures and a very good composition, thanks!

Mario

Lovely tones Daniel. Very well composed in teh vertical format and a beautiful light. TFS,
David

Hi Dan. Love all the Antelope Canyon shots but the simplicity of the lines in this one really caught my eye! Exposure's perfect as there's detail from shadow to highlight. I might be tempted to apply an s-cure to raise the contrast a fraction and make it jump out of the screen a little more. However, superb work. Regards, Paul.
