|Florida Life - laid back, chilled out, and very, very relaxing.|
I saw Jimmy Blackwell's image of a Florida beach yesterday on TL and I thought I'd share my version of Florida Life too.
This was taken at the hotels waterfront the I holidayed over Christmas in Marathon, Florida Keys.
This image is such a huge contrast to some of the images of devastation after the recent Hurricane Irma's visit to the area.
I took this shot with my trusty old Lumix compact camera set up for a 16:9 aspect. I usually set the compact camera in Auto mode and let the scenery do the talking, but for this shot, I had to do some enhancement...
In Photoshop, I cloned out the arm rest and leg of a chair at the left of the image, then added additional graduation filter to darken the sky as there was no cloud to add interest there. Finally, a added a touch os image sharpening just to add a little sparkle to the finished shot.
I now have this as my desktop image on my PC and it looks great - makes me want to go back today!!!
Hope you like it as much as I do.

Très belle réalisation photographique Dai !
Le panoramique ajoute à cette très bonne photo.
Great image here. I like the idea of knapping on the beach. Well presented with the font. P.S. I like it
