I like the notes to this image, the closeness shows us what we need to see. I like the fact that you have this as grayscale, the hair and the shadows create a different texture, the stone sparkling at will. touches of gradient help lead the eye, neat work Linda, have a great eweekend. TFS

I thought a woman was the most precious gem known to man! And sometimes the hardest, too! Love the blue sepia tone here as well as the superb tonal range sharpness & tight framing. Have a nice weekend!
Wow! So simple yet so powerful a composition. And I'm glad it's in B&W. Awesome capture of woman's best friend, good dof with nice details. Great contribution to Friday's theme. Well done, tfs.
Hi Linda, this shot has a blue tint on my screen,it makes a distinctive picture.
You have captured the textures of the smooth skin, the chain, the fabric of the dress, the hair and finally the multi faceted diamond.
Excellent composition. The diamond keeps drawing my eyes back, just calling for attention.

Very nice and different. But for my taste, I would rather to exclude the hair.

Greetings Linda, you forgot the 5th.C CASH!:-)
I like this duotone, as it really makes that diamond SPARKLE.
Sorry Yam,I have to disagree with you on this one, I like the hair,as for me, it's not all about the precious stone,to me,there is human emotions here to.
Well done Linda.TFS
