"Bridal Shoot ~ The Hands"
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The Bride wanted a shot of her hands, the ring, the bodice of the dress, and the veil, so we shot this. I added this to a few programs to brighten it up. Added an out-of-region focus. This is one of my favorites also. I hope you like it!

Hi Linda
I like the high key tones & effective tight framing. It seems a little blue on my monitor. Her nails are well cared for. Good sharpness & diffused light. Tfs!
I like this too Linda ... a unique wedding image. I love the softness, and also the viel coming down one side, partially obscuring her arm and hand. It's a beautiful dress ... love that bodice.
I have one little niggle though ... when I first looked at this, I thought she was holding her aching stomach .. the title could have been, "oooh, what did I eat?" Maybe both of her hands off center and down lower on her right hip? We could've seen more of the lovely bodice that way too. I dunno ... just my take :)

Hi Linda, the out-of-region focus ,is new to me,and I like how you used it in this image,as it brings ones focus, to all of the items the bride wanted. Just an afterthought for next time, ask the bride, when folding her hands together, to use her thumbs to make the shape of a heart:-)

Your wedding pictures are so simple but so powerful! I like the messages being sent by those photos. The white background really make so pure and so real. Very well done, tfs.
A really nice sequence of photos Linda... You'd do well as a dedicated wedding photographer!
Lovely gentle light here! Perfect focus and sharpness and a simple yet elegant composition!
Very good work!
