[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Extreme drought conditions have left Texas looking like the dust bowl. For me, it feels like a late September Day...brown grass, dead flowers, a haze to the sky. So I had to go to a place where there was some "man-made" spring...a place of water and care. I found this jewel there.

What is going on with the wierd weather patterns in the world? It's a little frightning.
Love this photo though... the vibrant colors are great, flower is well placed in the shot, and the little bug is a bonus :)

Beautiful composition! Love the color of this water lily. Nicely framed with good dof with sharp details. Well done, tfs.

Hello Linda

I like the offcenter POV of the flower. Now the Flower itself.......Wow is that beautiful or what. Love the delicate appearance. Hope the rain comes soon. We can always ship the overabundance of H20 your way, I need some sun. Have a nice day

Hi Linda,
An outstanding sharp shot of this water lily..it seems like a precious gem adorned with the perfect lighting.
Geat details in the golden heart of the flower! An agreeable contrast!
The composition is pleasing to the eye!
My best regards,

Francis Xavier

Nice composition, exposure, colours, lighting and focus. The insect on the RHS is a little distraction. regards.

Beautiful color, Great sharpness Linda.
Yes, we need rain.
The ground of the "2-big-lakes" ;-) at Little York and Hollister is so dry. Have you been there ? I saw lots of birds there.

Hi LInda...great shot..beautifully artistic...excellent work.

Hello Linda
Glad you fond a spring. Here, it is the flood. Your photo is very well composed with the main subject off-centered just likethe way I prefer. Deep rich colors and sharp details.

I wish I could send you some of our rain Linda. Here it seems to be never ending. This is such a pretty shot. Good dof, color and detail. This lovely flower and surrounding leaves seem quite refreshed. Well done. TFS, Lori

Hallo Linda
Imi place tare mult imaginea asta...

A lovely waterlily captured in a well thought way, Linda B-)

I love the way it is glowing (for you) and how you placed it within a natural frame is praiseworthy.
Unlike 'Claudees', I like the involvement of the insect in the picture as it gives us the idea of scale within the picture which is very helpful in this kind of shots I feel.
The picture is razor-sharp and colors are just wonderful.
Good job!

My regards,
