Looking at this photo reminded me to the Vietnam war which I was a witness. So many young girls/women struggled to survive without husbands, fathers, families...

Taken at Mercer Aboretum in Humble, TX

Thanks for viewing

I agree with Juliet here, Hien

A very interesting effect. The strong blur mixed with the pastel colours of the flowers in focus works really well here.
I like the composition and slight offset framing. The two (almost) centralised flowers are balanced well with the flower to the left.

Such a shame that such a beautiful shot brings such terrible memories.

Nice work Hien,

Hi Hien!
Lovely composition...it seems a painting.
I like the blurred BG very much. Good contrast between the pink flowers and the BG.
Very well done.
Ciao! vanda

Hi Hien...
Nice shot with so nice timing...
Beautiful colors, details...

Beautiful done , amazing capture

The memory are for ever in our life , but we go on

Hello Hien,

I love this uncommon perspective, it is a fresh approach to showcasing the flower's symmetry. The shallow depth of field has produced a wonderful smooth bokeh, very attractive and whimsical which made me understand why you thought of Vietnam. My best regards dear.

Hello Hien VY :)

These colourful flowers look wonderfully
on this beautiful, smeared, green background,
creating pretty, romantic composition.
Pretty light, colours and perfect sharpness.
Excellent realization with beautiful effect...congratulations!

Best wishes.

Hi Hien ,
A very lovely composition wit amazing focus on the flowers while the leaves are wonderfully blurred which made this shot so lovely like a dream.

Have a nice Sunday
